
CASTOR is an automated bonded warehouse system which integrates deliveries, sales and
warehouse contents monitoring functions and functions for automatic preparation of customs
documents and tracking of temporary import.
CASTOR – MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Maintenance of goods’ nomenclature with individual codes and information about customs tariff code,
unit weight, amount, prices and country of origin, and customers’ nomenclature.
Registration of imported goods’ deliveries by input of all data required for the preparation of a single
administrative document for customs warehousing (SAD CW).
Automatic preparation of SAD CW by grouping of the delivered goods according to 4 criteria:
tariff code, country of origin, type of currency and preferences pursuant to the agreement
with the EU/EFTA etc.
Registration of preliminary requests for the export of goods (sales, reverse export, transfer to
another company) and reservation of the requested amounts.
Registration of dispatching orders for warehoused goods (regular import order, simplified customs
declaration order, re-export order) and matching of orders and deliveries according to the FIFO
algorithm or according to a specific SAD CW.
Automatic preparation of a single administrative document (SAD) for regular import according to the
orders for a user-specified period and SAD for reverse export or simplified SAD according to an
order from a given customer (the grouping also includes a compulsory marking to denote excise and
non-excise goods).

To obtain up-to-date information about the customs regime, the database of NEWDATA’s programming
product NORD® (customs tariff, countries, currencies, customs offices, excise goods, preferences,
charges, etc.) is used.
CASTOR operates in Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista and supports Cyrillic encoding.
