(FOrwarding Book Open System for WEB)
FOBOS UP is a single integrated web-based solution for transport, forwarding and logistics management. It is developed in C# (C Sharp), Java and based on established standards. It is a centralized system with user access control to each functionality, intended both for internal employees and for the use of certain functionalities by partners and clients. It supports an unlimited number of users, regardless of their geographical location and provides a bilingual interface.
A single database – a new design, avoiding data duplication, using indexes on fields, which are used to filter data (searching for a single record or by a certain criterion). Each table has a key that uniquely identifies the row, and its type is an integer. The relationships between the tables are implemented using a foreign key (FOREIGN KEY).
A unique ID number for each request/request/shipment of a client, containing the three-letter code of the representative office that created it, the year and month of creation and a unique serial number, automatically generated by a counter. With this unique ID number, the shipment is recognizable in the system and it is monitored what processing processes it has gone through and what status it is in.
A unique course ID number containing a three-letter code of the representative office that creates it, type (national – collection, national – distribution, international export, international import, etc.) and a unique sequential number automatically generated by a counter.
Accepting a request from a client;
Quoting a client;
Requests to a subcontractor;
Monitoring the routes of cars, sea lines, air lines for MBL, combined transport;
Monitoring the status of shipments and routes;
Maintaining an optical archive;
Issuing operational transport documents – CMR, Loading List, Bill of Lading, MBL, HBL, etc.;
Dispatching/Handing over shipments to clients;
The warehouse manager determines the warehouse where the goods will be unloaded, visualizing the goods (units of measurement) that should be accepted, checked and given a subsequent direction. It is possible to direct shipments from one course to different warehouses;
The stay of the goods is short within the framework of processing an arrived course or preparing a departing course. Storage up to 4 calendar days, with the first day being the day of unloading;
After receiving the goods in the warehouse, a message is generated to the forwarder leading the transaction or the status in Phobos is automatically changed to unloaded in the warehouse;
The goods leave the warehouse in the way they arrived without repackaging, labeling and other usual warehouse operations, with a bill of lading or acceptance and delivery protocol;
The shipment can leave the warehouse in parts (separate packages), and the described documents are also issued for each partial departure;
Upon issuance/departure of the shipment from the warehouse, a message is generated to the forwarder leading the transaction, along with information about any additional obligations for storage, TRO, etc.;
Storage of goods in rented space – pricing and monitoring of the number of pallets (transport packaging) or square footage, or volume, or weight (the unit in which the rented space is rented – sq.m./day, cubic m./day, 100 kg. per 24 hours, sq.m. or cubic m. per month, amount for the entire month, regardless of the area occupied, etc.).
The warehouse manager determines the warehouse in which the goods will be unloaded and a message about upcoming processing appears on the relevant MOL, visualizing the goods (units of measurement) that should be accepted, checked and given a subsequent direction;
Counting upon acceptance – entering all necessary parameters, logistical information, attaching photos and files;
Depth of analytical analysis of the packages in this area – 3 levels:
– transport packaging – pallet, crate, etc.;
– intermediate transport packaging – carton, box, package, etc.;
– retail packaging or final unit of measurement – number;
The stay of the goods is based on the customer’s request and/or a long-term contract;
Monitoring of inventory, keeping records with the ability to create nomenclatures of goods according to the nomenclatures of the customer whose goods are stored, including monitoring of batches and shelf life for food products;
Monitoring the positioning of the goods;
The goods can leave the warehouse as a whole shipment or in parts (individual packages, units, etc.), and for each full or partial departure, the relevant documents are issued.
